SHAVE BEFORE YOU APPEAR

Shave before you Appear

This book is, above all, a salute; a salute to the men and women who keep moving forward, preparing themselves, and recognizing that true appearance is not measured by human qualifications but by God’s standards. In the Kingdom system, preparation precedes promotion, and appearance is the fruit of cleansing, of shaving away what hinders us, so that we may stand ready before God.

God places immense expectations on His vessels, often greater than the value they carry. These expectations demand that we shave off attitudes, habits, and tendencies that would dishonor the name we profess. Importantly, this shaving must happen in private, away from the applause of men, because public honor is born from private discipline.

We live in a generation that confuses appearance with substance. Yet, our responsibility is to distinguish between pleasing men and honoring God. That distinction cannot be fully realized until we cut away the extremes within us: the pride, the complacency, the distractions; before stepping into the presence of others.

This book is a call to honest self-examination. It challenges you to shave off the attitudes, characters, and mindsets that dull your witness. It asks: does your lifestyle reflect the excellence of the God you represent? If not, it is time to prepare, to cleanse, and to rise into the standard of divine excellence. So, you must Shave before you appear.
