I AM NOT A CHRISTIAN!
Let that sit before you reach for a Bible verse to correct the author. This is not a rejection of the cross, the blood, or the faith. It is the opposite — a reconstruction upward, out of a label and into a lineage.
For almost two thousand years, believers have answered to a word they never once examined. "Christian" sits on every form, every membership card, every introduction to a stranger. But Scripture never once calls God's people by that word. It calls them sons. Heirs. Saints. Even — carefully, and with the same restraint Christ Himself used — gods, in the sense of those who carry a Father's delegated authority into the earth (Psalm 82:6; John 10:34).
I Am Not A Christian is a 16-chapter theological journey built on the same question God asked Adam in the garden — "Who told thee?" (Genesis 3:11) — now asked of every believer still answering to a smaller name than the one their Father actually gave them.
Across six parts, the book moves from provocation into precision: the historical origin of the word "Christian" in Antioch, the legal weight of adoption as sons, the groaning of creation itself waiting for sons to be revealed, the sobering weight of Psalm 82:6, and a practical closing charge on what it means to actually live as a son rather than merely believe it in private.
Every chapter is anchored in Scripture — drawing on the KJV for weight, the NLT for clarity, and The Living Bible for the gut-punch moments where a truth needs to land in the chest, not just the head — and closes with reflective questions and a prayer, so this is a book for both the study and the altar.
This is not deconstruction. It is a call to stop signing your name smaller than it actually is.
