The modern era of the twentieth century is over. All the ideas, concepts, assumptions that influenced that era, on which we shaped our cultures and thoughts have blown over!

Welcome to the post modern times. And what is post modernism’s creed?

“Truth, meaning, and individual identity do not exist. These are social constructs. Human life has no special significance, no more value than animal or plant life. All social relationships, all institutions, all moral values are expressions and masks of the primal will to power.”

These are the ideas and thoughts that have alarmingly gripped our universities and other educational institutions, children’s inclusive!

These thoughts shape our institutions of higher learning which turn out today's lawyers, judges, writers, journalists, teachers, and other culture-shapers.

Through society's influences, postmodernist ideas have seeped into films, television, art, literature, politics; and, without his knowing it, into the head of the average person on the street.

We must therefore understand the times we live in as we obey Christ’s mandate to “…make disciples of all nations.” - Matt. 18:20

We have been called to proclaim the gospel of the Kingdom to a culture grappling with postmodernism. A sure gospel that will transform and raise culture makers and law makers in every sphere of society.

Objectives

The objective of Family Development Institute therefore, is to counter the prevailing culture by creating awareness of this present age.

Providing education about God’s original blue print for Family Life.

Proclaiming Christ’s sufficiency to society's very points of need.

Contribute to strong healthy family life by providing the tools that will translate to strong healthy society and nation.
