NIGERIA POWER SECTOR SCORECARD REVIEW- Q2-Q4 2023

Electricity Lawyer is pleased to introduce its new Nigeria Power Sector Scorecard Tool. The Scorecard has been created to measure progress and consequent developments, based on the outcome of each policy, regulatory and legal measure(s) employed by President Bola Tinubu's administration, for the advancement of the Nigerian Electricity Supply Industry (NESI); in line with the President’s six-plan agenda for the power sector. Each plan is broken down into measurable parameters. The parameters within the scorecard checklist table were curated based on measurable factors that indicate an advancement of the objectives of the President’s six-plan agenda for NESI. The Scorecard can be used to track each parameter per plan, based on new and/or ongoing initiatives per quarter within the applicable year or on a year-on-year basis. The current scorecard tracks the progress of the new administration from the second quarter, up until the fourth quarter of 2023. Please note that an assessment/scoring has not been undertaken, based on the qualitative nature of the data as reflected in the scorecard.
