MEDICAL BLUNDER OF THE CENTURY!

Husband and wife were evangelists and carriers of the sickle cell gene. After the birth of the first born with HbSS, the family doctor told the woman she could go ahead and have three more children.

'It's one out of four, the doctor said, 'and you already have that one.'

Another child was produced having sickle cell anaemia before the family realized the doctor had blundered. But there was no turning back!

Just before her tubes were to be tied to permanently prevent pregnancy, the woman got pregnant again!

'I considered an abortion after I got pregnant for the third time.'

The family's faith was test and tried beyond description.
