AROUND THE THRONE OF GOD IN HEAVEN
AROUND THE THRONE OF GOD IN HEAVEN
1. Around the throne of God in heaven (heaven)
Thousands of children stand, children stand,
Children whose sins are all forgiven,
A holy, happy little band,
Singing, “Glory, glory, glory!
Singing, “Glory, glory, glory!
Singing, “Glory, glory, glory!
A holy, happy little band.
2. What brought them to that World above
That heav'n so bright and fair, bright and fair,
Where all is peace and joy and love
How came those Children there?
Singing, “Glory, glory, glory!
Singing, “Glory, glory, glory!
Singing, “Glory, glory, glory!
How came those Children there?
3. Because the Saviour Shed His blood (blood)
To wash away their sins, wash their sins;
Bathed in that pure and precious flood,
Behold them white and clean;
Singing, “Glory, glory, glory!
Singing, “Glory, glory, glory!
Singing, “Glory, glory, glory!
Behold them white and clean.
4. On earth they sought the Saviour’s grace (grace)
On earth they loved His name, loved His name;
So now they see His blessed face
And stand before the Lamb.
Singing, “Glory, glory, glory!
Singing, “Glory, glory, glory!
Singing, “Glory, glory, glory!
And stand before the Lamb.
