This class will expose you to methods YouTube, or any other physical/online class will never teach you.

Beyond making bag prototypes with just cardboard papers and top bond, is how to turn prototypes into real bags.

In this bagmaking bootcamp, you'll learn

• how to draft patterns with understanding
• how to use the patterns to cut your stiffeners, leathers and lining
• how to choose and add reinforcement to your bag
• How and what to consider to choose and fix hardware on bag
• Design elements that adds beauty and detail to bags
• Various closure methods (frame, drawstring, zip tabs, flap)
• Various ways you can fix lining in bags
• How to insert organizers and compartments in bags
• and lots more...

In this class we'll explore how to make the following bags

1. Frame clutch purse

2. Handbag with chain straps

3. Tote Handbag

4. Make up purse

5. Double zip compartment laptop bag

6. Invisible clasp purse

7. Mini Handbag with top handle

8. Bucket bag (new lesson)

9. Travel bag. (new lesson)

This class is strictly focused on the using tote gusset method to make different bags.

The class tutorials are pre-recorded videos and you can watch at your own pace.

The first set of tutorials would be on understanding pattern drafting and constructing prototypes with self-assessment tasks that allows you apply what you've learnt

the next set of tutorials would delve into how to turn the pattern into real bags, adding lining, organizers, pockets, hardware, closures etc.

All needed materials would be communicated via the WhatsApp group once registration is confirmed.
