Sheets Included and How to Use Them
1. Dashboard (Automated Overview)
Purpose: Provides a quick snapshot of the farm’s current status.
How to Use:
Enter the number of birds stocked in the yellow cell only.
Once entered, all other dashboard values update automatically.
Do not edit any other cells on this sheet.
2. Daily Records Sheet (Core Data Entry Sheet)
Purpose: This is the most important sheet. All reports depend on the data entered here.
What to Enter Daily:
Date
Bird age (in days)
Quantity of feed given
Quantity of water given
Mortality (if any)
Remarks (optional)
Important Notes:
This sheet is fully manual.
Enter data consistently and accurately.
Skipping days or entering wrong values will affect all reports.
3. Feed Records Sheet
Purpose: Tracks feed purchases and costs.
How to Use:
Enter data in the editable columns only (date, feed type, quantity, unit price, etc.).
The Total Cost column is automated.
Do not type or edit the total cost column.
If you delete or adjust values in editable columns, totals update automatically.
Do not delete or modify automated columns.
4. Vaccination Sheet
Purpose: Records all vaccination activities.
How to Use:
Enter all vaccination details manually.
No calculations are automated on this sheet.
Ensure dates and vaccine names are recorded correctly.
5. Mortality Record Sheet
Purpose: Keeps a detailed log of bird losses.
How to Use:
Record mortality events manually.
This sheet supports better tracking and verification against daily records.
6. Sales Sheet
Purpose: Tracks bird sales and revenue.
How to Use:
Enter:
Date
Quantity sold
Price per bird (or unit price)
The Total Revenue column is automated.
Do not edit the automated column.
7. Expenses Sheet
Purpose: Records all non-feed expenses (labor, medication, utilities, transport, etc.).
How to Use:
Enter expenses in the editable columns.
The Total Cost column is automated.
Leave automated columns untouched.
8. Inventory Sheet
Purpose: Tracks stock balances.
How to Use:
Enter data only where required.
The Balance column is fully automated.
No manual input is needed in balance cells.
9. Performance Summary Sheet
Purpose: Calculates key performance indicators for the batch.
How to Use:
Fill in all yellow cells only.
These inputs allow the toolkit to calculate performance metrics accurately.
Do not edit non-yellow cells.
10. Printable Monthly Report Sheet
Purpose: Generates a summary report for a selected month.
How to Use:
Select the month from the yellow drop-down cell.
Manually enter the year.
Once selected, all values update automatically.

All data is pulled from other sheets, so accuracy depends on your entries.
11. Batch Report Sheet
Purpose: Provides a complete report for the entire production batch.
How to Use:
Enter:
Farm name
Telephone number
Batch name or batch number
Everything else updates automatically from the first recorded day to the review date.
Automated and Protected Cells
Any cell you are not instructed to edit is automated.
Automated areas are password-protected to prevent accidental deletion or formula damage.
Do not attempt to edit protected cells.
Removing Sample Data
When you first receive the toolkit:
You may delete sample records from editable fields only.
Do not worry about protected or automated cells.
Once your own data is entered, the system will function correctly.
Hiding Sensitive Reports (For Workers or Assistants)
If someone else is recording data for you:
To Hide Reports:
Right-click on the Monthly Report or Batch Report sheet tab.
Select Hide.
Repeat for any other sensitive sheet.
Go to Review → Protect Workbook.
Ensure Structure is ticked.
Set your password.
To Unhide Reports:
Go to Review → Unprotect Workbook.
Enter your password.
Right-click on any sheet tab.
Select Unhide.
Choose the sheet and click OK.
End of Batch Use
Save the completed file in a secure folder.
Make a copy of the file.
Clear editable data in the copied version to start a new batch.
