UI/Ux Design with Ki

What is Ui/UX design?

This learning path is curated from UI/UX design courses, videos and resources from across the internet, organized into a logical sequence that a beginner can follow.

Take a moment to think about you favorite website or mobile app or electronic device. What makes you love it? Is it really intuitive to use? Did it feel familiar the first time you used it? Maybe it even has an uncanny way of knowing what you’ll want to do next? Odds are, a user experience (UX) designer spent hours researching and designing it so you could have a seamless experience.

UI/UX design is a combination of tools, methods, and frameworks with which you can solve design problems in a methodical way while focusing on the users of a product or service.

Why learn user (UI/UX) design?

UI/UX design is hot. Demand is high, as are average salaries, as companies continue to focus on users and creating better experiences for them. You will learn to understand how customers think about a product or service. If you can get inside the minds of the people you design for, your designs will be that much more powerful.

What will you learn?

By the end of this online course you will be fluent in the language and process of UI/UX design. You will learn about what it encompasses, and how it relates to other disciplines. We'll cover:

design research methods

user centered design techniques

interviewing users in real-world situations

creating personas to define users

deliverables a UX designer is expected to produce

Each topic has modules to teach you and best practices. In this learning path, we covers techniques, methods, and best practices, and specific tools.

Aspiring designers, product managers, engineers, entrepreneurs... really anyone wanting to learn about UI/UX! This learning path is designed to be accessible without having a previous background in the field.
