Godot is Coming (A Play)

Waiting is an act of faith. It is a discipline of endurance, trust, and steadfastness. Yet to wait is to wrestle, not only with time, but with doubt, temptation, and the burden of choice. Godot is Coming explores this tension, drawing on the absurdist tradition while infusing it with Christian theology and eschatological hope.

Like Waiting for Godot, this play engages with absurdity, paradox, and repetition. But where Beckett’s characters linger in despair, Theo’s waiting is purposeful, filled with expectation and the promise of ultimate fulfilment. Here lies the distinction between nihilism and hope.

For those who wait, those who struggle with doubt, and those who long for the coming of what has been promised, this play speaks directly to you.

Godot is coming. Hold fast.
