Having worked with children in the classroom for over a decade. 

I realized that one challenge children have with learning is their inability to take ownership of their learning. At every point, they look out for assistance even on things they can do with ease.

I see parents whose jobs would have been smooth, struggle with their children's learning.

Some mums with all their effort are blamed for their children's learning challenges.

Some teachers have also had to leave their jobs because parents need the learning magic to happen.

Achieving learning Independence is possible.

Getting your child to that point where he/her doesn't have to wait for you before homework is attempted is doable.
