High School Ready Program

Starting secondary school is an exciting milestone, but it also comes with new academic, social, and emotional demands. Without the right preparation, even confident children can struggle to adjust.  

That's why we created the High School Ready program to equip incoming JS1 students with the mindset, skills, and confidence they need to thrive from day one.

As a Developmental Psychologist and Certified Teens Coach, I've spoken with many parents who noticed their child became withdrawn, lost confidence, struggled academically, or began making poor choices shortly after starting secondary school. In many cases, it wasn't because something was wrong they simply weren't prepared for the transition.

What they will learn

They will learn not just the basics about high school, but the tools they need to thrive such as, time management, emotional regulation, self-confidence, what to do if someone tried to pick up them, puberty, how to navigate difficult situations in school with our problem solving skills and many others. The lessons will be delievered in a fun and relatable way for that age. 

Who Will Teach Them?

Our facilitators are experienced counselors, coaches, and educators who have worked extensively with children and teenagers. Students will also learn from teen mentors who will share practical tips for succeeding in secondary school.
