Does God call individuals to the service, or is it one of a few vocations a Christian can pick? Ministers and church pioneers should be clear about this imperative issue. The gospel service is a high and respectable calling. In 2 Corinthians 3:7–11, Paul announces that the service is heavenly. In 1 Timothy 3:1, Paul pronounced that peaceful service is a "great", or fair, work. All through the New Testament, the service is maintained as a heavenly stewardship shared with the individuals who assume its liability (1 Cor. 4:1, 2; 2 Cor. 5:18–20; 1 Thess. 2:4; 2 Tim. 4:1–5; 1 Pet. 5:1-4). Notwithstanding, God is expecting His servants to base their messages on His Word, which cannot be changed.

The upsetting truth is that fewer individuals are investing in professional Christian services. Why would that be the situation? This book will characterize what the call of God is and then articulate Scriptural rules for distinguishing the needs in one's life.

There is a need for the Minister of God to “search the Scripture” to equip himself for a high calling of blessing others.
