the curse you obey

You move to Abuja to escape your past, but the spirits of your hometown don't need a visa to follow you.

Following the painful loss of his mother to a grueling illness and the devastating silence of a church that refused to lift a finger to help; a young man packs his bags and leaves Ijebu-Ode for the capital city. He’s angry, he's broken, and his faith is hanging by a single, frayed thread.

Abuja was supposed to be a fresh start. Instead, it’s a spiritual and emotional minefield.

As he tries to rebuild his life, his heart is violently pulled in three completely different directions by three women who hold the keys to his future:

• The Deified Woman: An enigmatic figure from his hometown who embodies the heavy, ancient ancestral power he tried to run away from.

• The Ambassador’s Daughter: The glamorous, high-society daughter of a corrupt former diplomat, offering wealth, elite Abuja access, and a fast escape from reality.

• The Devout Believer: A fiercely faithful NGO worker who challenges his anger toward God—but who is secretly drowning in her own silent heartbreak after receiving a devastating medical diagnosis (POI) that threatens her future.

In a city built on political corruption, where ancient altars demand loyalty and modern love demands sacrifice, which voice will he obey?
