ONCE UPON A SERVICE YEAR

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) year is a year of service to the nation that every graduate in 

Nigeria gets to venture into except for those who for various reasons such as age and the likes are not 

permitted or by themselves defer the process. In this year of service, graduates are deployed to 

different states of the country to serve and work for the government in various local governments and 

in various fields. This period in the life of every young Nigerian is usually a definitive time where they get 

to take on their dream careers and explore their potentials.
