If you’re a Christian currently journeying through grief, or if you know someone who is, then, your hand landed on the perfect resource to help you think through this experience! This book seeks to answer the one question every Christian is bound to wrestle with when experiencing loss: how do I reconcile a good God with the death of my loved one. Or, how do I make peace with the fact that God could have prevented the death of my loved one, but chose not to.
Regardless of how much we love Jesus, the reality that God could have intervened in the lives of our loved ones, but chose not to, can leave us in a dark and disappointed place. Once there, there’s very little that clichés and platitudes can do to in the way of comfort.
In this book, I share the thoughts that kept me believing in the goodness of God despite losing my dad to cancer. Having been a Christian my whole life, and being a witness to so many miracles, including my dad’s salvation, watching God say so no to prayers for my dad’s healing was difficult. Still, in the wake of his death, I am confident that God is good. That too, is a miracle and within these covers, I share the thought process that keeps me believing that God is good all the time, and all the time, God is good!
