Building becomes more complex as the work grows.

The decisions carry greater consequences.

The questions become more difficult to answer publicly.

You need people who can challenge your thinking without competing with you, offer perspective without imposing their ambitions on your work, and hold you accountable to the outcomes you said mattered.

The Builders Council is a three-month private advisory and peer circle for a carefully selected group of founders, creatives, executives, and community builders leading serious work.

It is designed for people who have moved beyond needing basic inspiration but still need a trusted room in which they can think, decide, build, and grow.

The Council combines strategic advisory, structured accountability, curated relationships, opportunity intelligence, and an intimate Builders’ Dinner.

This is not a mass mentorship program.

It is a small, carefully constituted room built around the quality of its members, the honesty of its conversations, and the progress each person is committed to making.

Here is a summary detail of the benefits of participation

Three-month membership;

Maximum 8–12 members;

Three private strategy sessions;

Monthly Council sessions;

Builders’ Dinner;

Funding and visibility reviews;

Private member community;

Opportunity and relationship mapping.

THE PURPOSE OF THE COUNCIL

The Builders Council exists to help members:

• Make better strategic decisions

• See problems and opportunities more clearly

• Strengthen their visibility and market positioning

• Improve their funding and resource strategy

• Build more useful professional relationships

• Remain accountable to important priorities

• Access thoughtful feedback before making major moves

• Build with greater discipline, courage, and perspective

WHO THE COUNCIL IS FOR

The Builders Council is suitable for:

• Founders leading active businesses

• Creative entrepreneurs with an established body of work

• Consultants and knowledge entrepreneurs with paying clients or validated expertise

• Professionals building influential platforms or independent ventures

• Social-impact leaders running active organisations or initiatives

• Community builders with evidence of traction and a clear growth ambition

• Operators responsible for making significant strategic decisions

Members should already have something substantial in motion.

This may include customers, users, revenue, partnerships, an audience, a team, a tested product, a recognised platform or another clear form of traction.

The Council is not intended for people who are still deciding whether they want to build.

WHAT MEMBERSHIP INCLUDES

  1. MONTHLY CLOSED-DOOR COUNCIL SESSIONS

Each month, members will meet for a facilitated strategic session focused on the real decisions, obstacles and opportunities affecting their work.

These sessions will not be general lectures.

Members will bring live business and leadership questions into the room, examine their assumptions, receive feedback and leave with clear decisions and next actions.

Possible areas of focus include:

• Positioning and growth

• Funding and financial readiness

• Visibility and thought leadership

• Offers, products and business models

• Partnerships and strategic relationships

• Team and execution challenges

• Opportunity assessment

• Difficult leadership decisions

  1. INDIVIDUAL STRATEGY SESSIONS

Each member will receive 3 private advisory sessions during the three-month membership period.

These sessions will provide space to examine sensitive decisions, clarify priorities and develop a focused response to the member’s most important challenge.

2.BUILDER REVIEWS

At defined points during the programme, every member will review:

• What they intended to accomplish

• What has actually changed

• What is working

• What remains blocked

• What must be stopped, changed or accelerated

• The priorities for the next phase

These reviews ensure that membership produces measurable movement rather than a series of interesting conversations.

3.THE OPPORTUNITY AND RELATIONSHIP MAP

Each member will identify the clients, partners, platforms, funders, collaborators and decision-makers who could materially support their next stage.

Where a genuinely relevant relationship exists within the Council or wider Builders Community network, thoughtful introductions may be facilitated.

Introductions are made at our discretion and are never guaranteed.

4.FUNDING AND VISIBILITY REVIEWS

Members will have opportunities to review selected materials connected to their growth goals.

These may include:

• Funding narratives

• Partnership approaches

• Personal or organisational positioning

• Visibility plans

• Opportunity pitches

• Strategic presentations

• 90-day growth plans

The Council does not act as a fundraising agent, publicist or outsourced business-development team. Its role is to strengthen members’ thinking, readiness and approach.

5.PRIVATE MEMBER COMMUNITY

Members will belong to a private communication space where they can:

• Ask thoughtful questions

• Share relevant opportunities

• Request feedback

• Report progress

• Exchange useful resources

• Continue conversations between Council sessions

6.THE BUILDERS’ DINNER

Council membership includes an invitation to an intimate, professionally curated Builders’ Dinner.

The dinner will bring members together for deeper conversation, reflection and relationship-building away from the pressure of a conventional networking event.

This will not be a crowded gala built around exchanging business cards.

It will be a carefully designed table for people building consequential work.

The evening will include:

• A curated dining experience

• Guided conversations

• Builder stories and reflections

• Meaningful peer introductions

• A member recognition moment

• Professional photographs and selected visibility assets

Additional guest attendance, where available, may require a separate ticket.

7.MEMBER VISIBILITY FEATURE

Each member may be considered for a Builders Spotlight feature highlighting what they are building, the problem they are addressing and the lessons emerging from their work.

Features are editorial and will be developed in line with Builders Community standards.

8.PRIORITY ACCESS

Council members will receive priority consideration or early access for selected Builders Community events, opportunities and advisory experiences during the membership period.

WHAT YOU WILL DEVELOP

During the three months, you will work towards completing or strengthening:

• A three-month strategic growth plan

• A clear positioning and visibility direction

• A funding or resource pathway

• Quarterly priorities and progress measures

• A decision and accountability system

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Is The Builders Council a course?

No. The Council may include frameworks and guided exercises, but it is primarily an advisory, accountability and peer-intelligence experience. Members will work on real decisions and challenges connected to what they are currently building.

  • How is this different from The Builders Accelerator?

The Builders Accelerator is an eight-week structured implementation programme that helps participants build foundational plans and systems.

The Builders Council is a three-month private advisory circle for more established builders managing ongoing strategic decisions, growth opportunities and leadership challenges.

  • Can I join the Council if I have not attended The Builders Conference or Accelerator?

Yes. Previous participation is not compulsory, but every applicant must meet the Council’s selection criteria.

  • Does membership guarantee funding, customers or partnerships?

No. Membership does not guarantee investment, grants, clients, partnerships, media coverage or other commercial outcomes.

The Council will help you strengthen your readiness, decisions, relationships and opportunity strategy. Any resulting outcome will depend on several factors outside the Council’s control.

  • Will you introduce me to investors or influential people?

Introductions may be made where there is a clear and appropriate fit. However, introductions are discretionary and are not guaranteed as part of membership.

  • Can a member of my team attend in my place?

Membership is attached to the accepted individual. Team-member participation may be permitted for selected sessions where appropriate and approved in advance.

  • Can I miss a session?

You are expected to prioritise Council sessions. If you miss a session, any materials or recordings available will be shared according to the session’s confidentiality requirements. Some discussions may not be recorded.

  • Can I receive a refund after acceptance?

Membership fees are non-refundable once your application has been accepted, your place has been confirmed and access to the Council has been provided.

  • Please review the commitment, dates and membership terms before accepting your place.

Can my membership be transferred?

  • No. Council membership is personal and cannot be transferred without written approval.

Will every member receive a Builders Spotlight feature?
