A lot of people buy a book, read the first few chapters, and then stop. Not because they aren't interested, but because they aren't sure what to do next.
I didn't want that to happen with Break Into Cloud & AI Prompt Engineering, so I put together this roadmap to help you keep going and put what you learn into practice.
It's a 12-week plan that follows the book chapter by chapter. Each week tells you what to read, what to work on, and what to save to your portfolio, so you always have a clear next step.
Days 1–30: Build Your Cloud Foundation
Get familiar with Cloud fundamentals, choose a platform to focus on, launch a virtual machine, practise cloud storage, and learn the basics of securing your resources.
Days 31–60: Explore AI and Prompt Engineering
Understand how language models work, practise writing better prompts, and learn how to use AI tools to get more useful results.
Days 61–90: Put Your Knowledge to Work
Build a simple AI assistant, document your projects on GitHub, improve your CV and LinkedIn profile, and prepare to apply for relevant roles.
You can aim for 5–7 hours a week, or start with 10 focused minutes a day if your schedule is busy. And if you fall behind, simply pick up where you stopped. You don't have to start all over again.
There's also a practical reminder to set a billing alert before using cloud services and delete resources after each lab to avoid unexpected charges.
Format: A 7-page PDF you can print or use on your phone.
