Why You Must Understand That You Are a Maker
From the very beginning, God revealed Himself not only as Lord but as Maker. Creation was intentional, ordered, and purposeful. Humanity was not an accident, nor was it an afterthought. When God declared, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness” (Genesis 1:26), He was imparting His creative nature into humanity.
This statement reveals identity before function. Being made in God’s image means carrying His attributes—creativity, responsibility, authority, and the ability to produce lasting outcomes. God did not simply create humans to exist; He created them to participate in making.
This book is a call to rediscover that original design. Many believers genuinely love God, pray faithfully, and worship sincerely, yet live far below their divine capacity. They wait for miracles but neglect stewardship. This is not humility; it is a misunderstanding of identity and assignment.
God never designed His people to be passive. Prayer and worship are foundations, but they are not substitutes for obedience and action. Faith that does not produce tangible results remains incomplete.
YOU ARE A MAKER is not a motivational theory or self-help philosophy. It is a return to God’s original blueprint. It explains why fruitfulness must come before multiplication, why multiplication leads to dominion, and why obedience always produces something visible and measurable.
