This book of poems, Pleasure of Life, felt very motivational and inspired me to thoughtfully pursue a life that is worth living and a life that impacts the world and the next generations in a positive way. I wish that every young person could read this book to find motivation to make wise choices and live selflessly. I think it would be a perfect book to use for high school students. The themes of success and life are perfect themes for older students to discuss, and the writing style and thoughts are provocative and accessible for students. The word choice and organization of each feels very thoughtful and deliberate building towards a resolution and message.
