It is no longer news but so pathetic that christians are falling and backsliding from faith. Those failures and sins are then making it difficult for them to continue their race as they are supposed to.

But we have forgotten that both good and bad stories were written in the Bible for us to learn from. (1Co 10:11, Rm 15:4).

Unfortunately, the best are said to be sad and bad ones. Those whose life ended as they were not supposed to.

Those ones like Uzzah, Nadab and Abihu, Eli and Saul ( who is now our point of reference). If you said those ones are in the Old Testament, what of Ananias and Sapphira? Were they also in the O.T? But their death and destruction is very amusing to us today.

This book is replete with many lessons to learn from people of the past, especially the Old Testament. Using King Saul as the point of reference, you will know why many of them perished with no room for repentance.
