This comprehensive practical training program is designed to equip structural engineers with the skills to perform real-world oil and gas structural analysis and design. Unlike software-only courses, this focuses on practical engineering projects and complete design workflows, taking participants through modeling, loading, analysis, member and foundation design, steel connection design, design reporting, and detailed drawing production. The program progresses through basic, advanced, and professional levels. Participants gain hands-on proficiency using STAAD.Pro and Excel for realistic projects, including pipe supports, access platforms, valve platforms, portal frame shelters, warehouses, pipe racks, equipment foundations, steel water tanks, dynamic equipment foundations, pile foundations, and specialized equipment foundations. The training is delivered by practicing structural engineers with over 10 years of oil and gas industry experience, and runs for eight(8) weeks with sessions every weekend on Saturday and Sunday. This is a practical oil and gas structural engineering training, not just STAAD.Pro training.
Our Ekidel oil and gas training aligns with industry standards and engineering practices commonly used by Shell, Saipem, TotalEnergies, ExxonMobil, and Chevron. The participants are introduced to relevant engineering requirements, design practices, loading & analysis approaches, and project workflows.

Upon successful completion, participants receive a Certificate of Competency for the practical Oil and Gas Structural Engineering Training program.

Our oil and gas structural engineering training is practical, project-based, and industry-focused, using real-world projects to build hands-on skills in onshore structural analysis and design.
Note: Our oil and gas structural engineering training is conducted in batches (group training).
We conduct live, instructor-led training sessions online using Google Meet or Microsoft Teams, enabling participants to follow along with every detail of modelling, analysis, design, and practical demonstrations in real time.
By the end of this training, you'll have the practical skills and confidence to independently model, analyze, and design real-world onshore oil and gas structures, from pipe supports and platforms to equipment foundations, pipe racks, warehouses, and specialized industrial structures.
You can find the detailed syllabus for the Oil and Gas Structural Engineering Training below, outlining the projects, topics, and practical skills covered at each level.
