These Feral Kids

Fifteen-year-old Amah Enahoro is a drug addict. 

But she wasn’t always like this. Just last year, she was dancing in front of great world leaders, with a bright future ahead of her. Then, she lost her hearing. Unable to cope, she turned to drugs to find solace. Now, she’s a shadow of who she once was.

Terrified at the downward spiral, her parents send her to get professional help at Taberah Ministries for Troubled Teens, a camp where the worst children go and are returned fully rehabilitated. But Taberah is not the best place for children, even the worst kind. 

There, she meets Lotanna, the happy-go-lucky boy who has been in Taberah for eight months, serving a sentence after being framed for a crime. He has done nothing but be the good kid here, in hopes that his sacrifice will win him the Baton Bearer, a prestigious award. But that changes when both kids meet and team up to destroy Taberah so that no other child can suffer the gruesome situation at Taberah. Still, they are only two children in the midst of adults who are stronger in every way that matters. Will they be able to leave with their souls unscathed?
