From ₦20k to a Portfolio in Millions — Here’s Exactly How I Did It

Seven years ago, I made my first investment.

₦20,000 in a money market fund with ARM. I was a young professional earning a salary, trying to figure out if building real wealth was actually possible for someone like me, or if that was just something that happened to other people.

Nobody handed me a strategy. There was no mentor sitting across from me explaining what to do next. I was learning as I went reading, researching, and making decisions with the information I had at the time.

And I kept building.

It has taken seven years of consistency, course-correcting, and making peace with the fact that the journey is rarely a straight line.
