I was extremely tired of that life!
I was in the middle of getting depressed, wanting the best out of life…
So many nights I’ll wallow in various emotions, thoughts running through my mind…
How do I get better?
What could I do to help myself???
I was heading towards the 3rd decade of my existence on earth and yet I had nothing to show for it…
And before you judge me, I had tried those small small side hustles.
But they either ended with me getting scammed and all my money into thin air
OR
the business would need so much of my attention and I couldn't cope with the kind of job I had.
As the first of 5 siblings from a background humble enough to handle only necessities…
LUXURY’ was a word we only read in dictionaries or better still, saw in the movies….
With the nagging ‘FEAR OF POVERTY’ I desperately needed help!
I kept holding on to my toxic work place because I had not found a better option.
UNTIL.....
I started having NAGGING headaches that generated to migraines.
I started falling sick and wanting to stay off work more often.
It was then the veil fell off my face and I saw how much of ‘my MENTAL, PSYCHOLOGICAL and even PHYSICAL HEALTH’ was in jeopardy!
They had promised us financial freedom at the job, but there I was being enslaved and not getting ahead, ending in ‘FINANCIAL SLAVERY’….
… we were sold lies…
I needed to be responsible for my health...
One thing I was certain about was the fact that I never was going back to that job.
If not for anything, I needed to do better for my mental health and well-being.
But the big question remained …
WHAT NEXT???
Having tried several businesses, worked in a couple of places…
I wondered if I was ever going to be satisfied with anything at all…
At every point of my working experience, (even though the salaries could pay some bills),
Its either I felt like I was under-achieving,
Or it was just another place to pass time,
Or maybe I needed some knowledge and from day one I knew I won’t be there for long….
I needed to fix that puzzle and answer that banging WHAT NEXT??? question in my head….
I started to scamper through a number of suggestions online.
In my cluelessness, I didn’t know what I wanted to do next!
But I knew I wanted my TIME back, SANITY, PEACE OF MIND, and LOTS OF MONEY while I work.
In my search, I came across Copywriting…
COPYWRITING??!!
In my almost 30 years, I never knew something like that existed…
And just like you, the closest I had heard was COPYRIGHT which is worlds-apart from the subject matter.
I did my research, studied a little and got a good knowledge of it.
I paid for SEVERAL Copywriting courses and in each class, I gained a lot of knowledge but there was something always wrong!!!
After each class, I always felt OVERWHELMED, didn’t know what to do next or how to proceed.
To make matters worse, these classes all had ‘SUPPORT GROUPS’
I’ll join each group and my questions and requests would NOT be attended to.
It got really bad that I started paying for classes on the promise that -
'this support group would be better' or so the tutors promised….
But in the end, ‘I BECAME MY OWN SUPPORT GROUP’….
Another thing I struggled with was INCOMPLETE CLASSES..
Most of the classes will handle 2-3 ways one can make money with Copywriting,
