Most entry-level professionals are told they need experience before they can get a job, but very few are given a structured opportunity to gain that experience.
Project Factory is a structured, project-based internship programme where you work on realistic business and systems projects, receive professional mentorship, produce actual project deliverables, and have your work independently reviewed.
This is not a course where you simply watch videos or complete assignments.
You work on projects. You are assessed on your work. You receive feedback. You build evidence of professional competence.
Your experience progresses through three project levels:
Trainee projects are designed for participants who are developing their foundational project and professional skills.
You will work on clearly defined projects with a specific scope and substantial mentor guidance.
Typical projects involve:
Duration: Approximately 2 weeks
At this stage, the focus is on learning how to structure and manage a project properly.
Associate projects introduce greater independence and real implementation.
You will work on cross-functional projects where you must determine how the problem should be approached and produce something that can actually be used.
Examples include:
Duration: Approximately 3–4 weeks
The standard is simple:
Your output must work.
Purely theoretical recommendations are not sufficient at this level.
Lead projects are designed for participants ready to demonstrate independent professional judgment.
The problems are deliberately more complex and ambiguous. There may be multiple possible solutions, competing priorities and different stakeholder interests.
You will be expected to:
Duration: Approximately 4–6 weeks
Lead projects are not simply larger versions of Trainee projects.
They require judgment, leadership and the ability to operate when there is no obvious answer.
Completing a project does not automatically mean passing it.
Each project goes through a structured Quality Assurance (QA) Gate appropriate to its level.
Your mentor reviews your work to confirm that:
Pass one Trainee project and you become eligible for Associate-level work.
Associate projects receive additional independent review.
In addition to the Trainee requirements, your project must demonstrate:
You must successfully pass two Associate projects, together with the required client-facing competence assessment, before becoming eligible for a Lead project.
The Lead Gate is the programme's Certification Gate.
To pass, you must demonstrate:
You must achieve at least 4/5 across all seven assessed competencies.
There is no separate certification exam or ceremony.
Passing the Lead Gate is the certification.
If your project does not meet the required standard, it returns to execution for revision. You improve the work and resubmit it.
Every active participant receives two mentor meetings every week.
You do not need to wait for a mentor to invite you.
You book directly from your mentor's available slots.
15 minutes | Monday-Wednesday
A short, focused meeting covering:
You submit a brief written update before the meeting so the discussion stays focused.
30-45 minutes | Thursday-Friday
This is your deeper working session.
You can use it to:
Your mentor will challenge your thinking—not simply tell you whether your work is good.
This also gives you practice defending your work before the formal review.
Project Factory is designed to simulate the expectations of a real professional environment.
Participants are expected to:
Missing meetings or deadlines without appropriate communication can affect your project assessment.
By progressing through the programme, you build more than a certificate.
You build evidence of what you can actually do.
Depending on the projects you complete, this can include:
You also receive structured feedback on your professional performance and areas for improvement.
You are:
Don't just say you have experience. Build the evidence.
