Epilepsy Assessment & Management Course - Nigerian Participants

The EAMC Version 2.0 has been designed to equip non-medical personnel that work with people with epilepsy including Care-givers, Epilepsy Advocates, Therapists (Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Therapy Assistants, School Teachers, Special Education Need Tutors, NGOs, Social Workers, and Nursing Assistants. This training will provide attendees with best practices needed to support people living with epilepsy in all Low to Middle-Income Countries (LMICs). This intensive three-month interactive virtual training is open to attendees from all LMICs.

Sessions will be delivered by leading UK specialists in the field of epilepsy management. You will have access to recordings of sessions and you will receive a certificate of attendance upon completion.

• Managing Epilepsy in Children and Women
• Epilepsy Risk Management
• Epilepsy and Mental Health

By the end of the course, you will:

• Understand the needs of people with epilepsy in special groups – women, children and people living with intellectual disabilities
