It is for the foregoing that this work, Do the needful…Chronicling the life and times of Comrade Dele Ariyo is done. If anything, it is to serve as a motivation to selfless service to humanity, which the life of the late Comrade Dele Ariyo epitomised.

This book has also enabled the family of the late Ariyo, the textile worker, as well as his colleagues and friends, to say how their lives have been impacted by his equally impactful life. The reader will have a feel of who the late Ariyo was and how the textile world has evolved since his passing on June 14, 1993, and will be in a position to determine how the Nigerian textile industry should further evolve to honour his memory for the great sacrifices he made to the country's textile sector.
