Christianity is not an escapist agenda. The picture that has been painted of the Church has led many to follow Christ not because they want to experience Him as He really desired but to make Heaven. This escapist mentality has given the believer a wrong concept about God and even Heaven. The position favoured mostly is such that God is only interested in man making Heaven. Many come to answer the “Altar Call” simply because they don’t want to end up in hell.

Ask yourself some crucial questions right now:

“If I go to Heaven now, what am I going to be doing there?”

“Have I executed the task I came here to do?”

“What was God’s mind or Agenda for bringing me here?”

Such questions will make it obvious that we are presently suffering some spiritual miscalculations in the Church of our days.

Our ultimate is to make Heaven on Earth! To make an impact so much here on Earth that there will be a reflection of Heaven in whatever you are doing.

It becomes essential that we know what it requires for us to take our place. We have to establish the reason God brought us to Earth if we are to make sense of His agenda for us in this sphere of existence.
