A lot of the events that happen to us in life confuse us and sometimes destabilize us. Our reflex reaction is most times either to go rogue with excuses or go blank in denial. But none of these reactions are effective or progressive.

The best way is to start asking questions. The more questions we get answers to, either by ourselves or by others, the more we gain clarity. The more clarity we get, the more confidence we gain to move forward.

In the bigger events of life that confuse us, this plays out the same way and we have a choice how to respond. It may pay you in the short term to presume and try to cover up your ignorance but with time your house of cards will come crashing down. If you decide to avoid the issue and stay with the familiar, you will never fully understand life for what it truly is or stand up for anything worthwhile.
