Obedience better than Sacrifice

People naturally do not like rules. If it were possible, they would have preferred a world without rules. But rules albeit inconveniencing, have so many benefits that keeps the world together. Rules, commands, etc. are meant to be obeyed. Obedience often signifies a dutiful adherence to instructions or commands, whether from a person in authority, societal norms, or religious teachings. When you are obedient, you escape punishment, and are in a safe place with the law. No wonder the Bible says, “But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason…”. (Romans 13:4 NIV).
