Pressing is to push forward with determination and efforts, despite

obstacles and challenges in order to achieve a purpose. It connotes a

continuous, intentional effort to move ahead, improve or rise to a

higher level, physically, spiritually, economically, academically and

otherwise.

Sluggishness, stagnation, slothfulness and dragging of feet do not give good

result in Christian life. Jesus said, from the time of John the Baptist until now, the

kingdom of God suffers violence, and the violent take if by force. Matthew

11:12.
