The Secret Place

At certain seasons in a man's life, he begins to quest for more of God. This explains what actually happened to me having given my life to Jesus Christ as a 16 year old teenager and privileged to have served in various leadership positions right from my secondary school days till now and I can assure you I have seen the hand of God in different dimensions; from the souls I have been opportuned to lead to Jesus Christ, to the miracles and healings recorded, to pioneering a ministry. For all these, I am indeed grateful to God for choosing me as a vessel unto honour. However, I got to a point in my life where I had to ask myself some salient questions; there must be more to God than my present experience. This hunger and thirst was really burning in my heart, my service to God couldn't satisfy this hunger. All I wanted was more and more of Him. I virtually stayed away from everyone around me in my quest. Seeing my longing, God brought certain men into my life that fanned to flame a renewed hunger and thirst for the secret place. I vividly remembered that at that around that time, I did Introduction travel to Abuja with my family just to spend some quality time bonding when I met a friend who was my Music Director while I was serving as the President of Nigeria Christian Corpers Fellowship (NCCF), Edo State. He is Pastor Elijah Oyelade an anointed minstrel, who gave me some his CDs. One of the tracks “The Secret Place” became my song day and night for many months, it is the womb that gave birth to the message series I taught in our church and this book is the grandchild. Our generation is in dire need of men and women who will not just rate their stand with God by their material acquisitions but by the quality time they spend with Him in the secret place. That is where we meet with God away from every distraction of life, and it is the place where the purpose of God for us is birthed. You hold in your hands not another book but the manual to an end time revival. It's time to DWELL permanently in God's secret place.
