Life comes with pressure - work stress, relationship / marital challenges, financial worries, emotional overload...
Sometimes, we carry things we don’t know how to explain.
Something is happening in your marriage; you feel like your family has already decided who you are; you feel less than others; work is becoming too much; you constantly seek validation; you feel rejected or like you don't belong; you’re angry, confused, overwhelmed or just tired.
You have a lot on your mind, but you don’t know where to start.
Before you need advice, counselling or a solution, you need someone actually to hear you.
That is what The Haven is for.
The Haven provides a private, no-judgement space where you can talk freely, unburden and begin to make sense of what you're carrying or the situation.
You talk. I listen.
You can share what has been happening in your own words, even if it feels difficult to explain.
I’ll listen intentionally, ask questions where necessary, help you unpack what you’re carrying and see the different issues more clearly.
The purpose is not to rush you into a solution.
Sometimes, through the conversation, it becomes clear that what you need is to process what you’re experiencing.
Sometimes, it becomes clear that you need counselling or another form of professional support. We determine that from what you share.
If, from our conversation, it becomes clear that counselling, therapy, medical attention or another specialised form of support would be more appropriate, I will let you know and recommend the appropriate next step.

Is this therapy?

Yes, within ethical and professional boundaries
