In ‘eavesdropping,’ a religious mother overhears her teenage daughter speaking of her sexual encounter. ‘Shadow’ is an unpublished letter from a sad man to his married ex-lover. In ‘A Demon Next Door,’ a family faces unusual challenges after moving into an apartment. 

These short stories explore the subjects of empathy, loss, and childhood trauma, confront religion, dissect spiritual warfare and nudge the reader to uncover the lies we have believed.
