CHRONICLE OF THE TANAKH - VOLUME 2 (THE SHEMOT)

You were never meant to remain in bondage.

And Shemot is the story of what happens when God calls a people out.

Known as Exodus, meaning “departure,” Shemot is the second book of the Pentateuch written by Moses. But beyond Israel’s physical escape from Egypt, this book reveals something deeper — the formation of a people chosen to walk in covenant with God.

Through Moses’ calling, miraculous deliverance, the Passover, and the giving of the Law at Mount Sinai, Shemot reveals God not only as Deliverer, but as One who establishes identity, order, and relationship with His people.

This is more than a historical journey.

It is a revelation of transformation.

As part of Tanakh Volume 2, Shemot invites readers to look beyond the surface of the story and discover timeless patterns of obedience, consecration, deliverance, and covenant that still speak powerfully today.
