About the E-Book
The Stolen Breath is the pilot story in Project Climeset's storytelling feature, the Green Dreams Series. The story follows 11-year-old Nana Adams at Community Primary School, Itowolo. Trapped between the rising Ogun River and a dumpsite, Nana’s journal reveals the terrifying reality of a school turned into a flood-prone battleground. After being silenced at a summit because she was 'a child', she turns her frustration into a fierce act of resistance.
Does it come with a happy ending? Not quite yet.
The book is inspired by true events at an actual school called Community Primary School, Itowolo, being affected by environmental neglect. It includes Climate Micro-Lessons, Policy Frameworks, etc.
With sales from these purchases, we are raising ₦1.5M to work on an eco-resilient classroom project at Itowolo, giving the story the happy ending it needs.
