It's required of all businesses and companies to have tax identification number (TIN) before they carry out their business activities or affairs in order to pay their dues to the authorized government agencies.

Also, to open corporate account in banks, you will be asked of your TIN certificate, if not provided, you can't be allowed to have one. Because, according to the law of banking and CAMA 2020, it is stated that all businesses shall have TIN to pay their taxes.
