Never in my life have I ever thought of visiting a police station not to talk about sleeping in a police cell for days but life has a way of passing through you.

It all started in the early hour of the day around 2pm on Friday 30th of August 2024, when I was arrested alongside my younger brother at our family house in Mende Maryland Lagos.

In less than 20 minutes, our information was recorded in the station and were once again matched into the police station cell at WUSE ZONE 3 because it was already weekend and until Monday before work resumes . As we were walking along the corridors, I started crying bitterly that I was going to step again in a cell where we had 4 people staring and looking at us in expectation to join them. The

cell gate was opened and we marched in and sat on the mat and began to cry again. This time around I cried heavily because I left all my family back in Lagos and we are here in a state I am not used to as well behind bars. That was when I decided to write this book and title it “LAGOS TO ABUJA (BEHIND BARS)” where I will document each of my daily experience till I leave this cell.

Thank you for supporting me with your token by purchasing this book. I will be using the proceeds from this book to support different in-mates in different police station in lagos as a way of giving back.
