Dr. Olamidotun Owolabi is a dedicated missionary, distinguished educator, and the Head of the Department of Sign Language and Adult Education at the English Master Institute (EMI) Worldwide. His life and work exemplify a deep commitment to faith, education, and the development of human potential — particularly in promoting inclusive learning and advocacy for the global Deaf community.

As the sibling of a Deaf adult, Dr. Owolabi brings an exceptional blend of personal experience and professional expertise to his mission. This unique perspective has fueled his lifelong passion for Deaf education, linguistic inclusion, and social justice — inspiring countless learners, educators, and advocates around the world.

Renowned for his rare ability to speak and sign simultaneously — with conceptual clarity and cultural depth — Dr. Owolabi seamlessly bridges communication gaps between the Deaf and hearing communities. His communication style reflects authenticity, empathy, and grace, enabling him to reach diverse audiences with both intellectual and emotional resonance.

Dr. Owolabi’s academic journey is a testament to his dedication and excellence. He earned a Bachelor of Technology (Honours) in Crop Production and Soil Science from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) before pursuing his true calling in communication and education. At the English Master Institute (EMI) Worldwide, he achieved a First-Class Honours (B.A.) in English Language and Linguistics, a Master’s Degree in Linguistics and Deaf Education, and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Sign Language Education.

He is currently pursuing a Law degree at EMI, integrating legal scholarship with linguistic advocacy to advance justice, accessibility, and empowerment for Deaf individuals on a global scale.

His remarkable contributions to education, faith, and the arts have earned him international recognition and numerous awards, including:
