Dr. Manuela Jimenez, Ed.D, affectionately known as Doctor Nelaa, is a powerhouse in education, leadership, and fashion who is redefining what it means to lead with purpose. A transformative educator, she has made a lasting impact in K–12 education by creating innovative programs that help students transition seamlessly to college and pursue their dreams with confidence.
As co-founder of Middlesex STEM Charter School in New Jersey, she invests deeply in the same community that shaped her, while continuing to mentor students long after graduation.
Dr. Jimenez is an active mentor in the Women into Networking (WIN) community, where she empowers women to rise boldly in leadership and entrepreneurial spaces.
Her scholarly research addresses the barriers minority women face in male-dominated roles such as principalship and superintendency, offering solutions for gender equity in P–20 education systems.
Crowned Dr World Latina 2025 in the Dr. World Productions Pageant system, she proudly lives out her mantra, “Smart is Beautiful.” A published author of multiple empowerment-focused books and an Athena Young Professional Award 2024 nominee, she also captivates audiences as a model, recently gracing the runway at New York Fashion Week 2025 with elegance and confidence.
