This book is derived from the author's desire to present the ''Philosophy of Unity'' as one of the emerging philosophical framework to engage practically with the alarming crises,disunity,division,war,terrorism.distrust and the general unrest that have become almost norms in contemporary times. The author foregrounds that privation from the original purpose of love and contemporary living accounts for the lack of trust and mutual cohesion in many societies. The unrests and tensions that have become almost dominant in social interactions, locally and globally,may be traced to this privation or negation.
The book offers as its core proposal,love as the ultimate unifier of the multiplicity of things in the universe. It is via love,the author contents,that the unity and the separation of things in the world are necessitated. It is the discernment in this work that without love,the idea of the universe is inconceivable. This proposition is validated by the author's exploration of the parallels between love on the one hand,as a principle of inclusiveness, and the idea of binary opposition on the other hand.
The principle of inclusiveness through love is adopted by the author to disclose that binary opposition as expressed in divergent topics and and the fragments characterizing the universe should not be taken as reasons for division and disunity. It is the thrust that conflicts may be perceived as a basis for the transcendence of human limitations towards the initiating of a status quo where entities can coalesce for the overall good of life, human and non-human. The implication is that all fragments and their opposites are necessary since it is through them that potentials, both individual and the collective, may be fully realized.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Michael Bassey Eneyo is a Nigerian Philosopher,theologian and fearist scholar from Ekpri Ikot Eyo Edem, Akpabuyo- Cross River State. Previously, he had attended the prestigious University of Calabar. He is a fellow of The Fearology Institute(TFI), Canada as well as a Director, Fearism Academy,Nigeria. His earlier book is Philosophy of Fear: A Move to Overcoming Negative Fear. He has to his credit,academic articles in reputable journals,locally and internationally. Eneyo is a philosopher who seeks unity of all forms of beings, with love as catalyst even in the face of the diversities that he perceives as merely apparent for the emergence of a better world.
