Ibrahim was born in the Northern part of Nigeria around mid-nineties to a family of non-zealots. His family was the only monogamous home in their small moslem community. His childhood was filled with wonder until the truth was unveiled that his father had another family elsewhere. Things began to fall apart as they had to travel from home after the religious riot and the death of his father. He is left alone with his mother and two siblings.
Now they must find how to live again as a family and pursue the future they sought.
The story is comprised of the beautiful blend of love for nature, a subtle remark on the political and ethnic disparity in the nation. A peep into childhood and growing up and the peer pressures. And finding true love beyond feelings. It re-ignites optimism and the possibility of hope.
The story is divided into five parts (seasons) - BUDDED, TWILIGHT, NIGHT, SUN-RISE AND BLOSSOM.
It's a plain read of someone's life narrated in the personal pronoun by his bosom friend.
Mind you, it's pure fiction! 🤩
