The book, in its twenty chapters, encapsulates the History of Iwo, as a settled authority, the religion of the Yorubas, the veneration of Olodumare as the most Supreme Being, the philosophy, sociology, epistemology and ontology of the Yorubas. It has also captured a snippet of Oba Abdulrasheed Adewale Akanbi's story and the place of Islam in Iwo. Certainly, this book is neither a biography nor the autobiography of Oba Abdulrasheed Adewale Akanbi, Telu I. I am sure, in the fulness of time, he will certainly, tell his story. This book is his own scholastic voyage, according to his perspective, scholarship and research works.
