AND SHE WEPT

PROLOGUE

Her legs were drifting backward, forcing the center table out of its position. She guarded her body as she held his two stubborn hands that were about to force their ways through her waist. In a bid to pass her message to him, she hummed like a baby. Though the message was clear enough to be understood by him he pretended not to understand her. Thousands of things rushed through her mind within that seconds as she played back her mother's warning...

‘…in any case, sex is worth waiting for and its pride lies in the family, so do not allow any man to steal your glory away. Men respect their wives if met as a virgin no matter how corrupted the man may be. My dear daughter, if you start it, you may not finish well because it will cause you a lot of havoc and challenges in life... '

‘Come on baby’ he pleaded as his baritone voice brought her back from the pool of thought.

‘If I start it now, I may not finish well because it will cost me a lot of havoc and challenges in life’ she reiterated the lines of her mother.

‘Said by who?’

‘My mother of course’

‘That was when you were a baby but now you are already a grown-up girl. Come on! Don’t subject your destiny to that kind of archaic quotation’ he bamboozled her intellect.

Looking up at the rolling ceiling-Fan as if solutions were written on its blades, she was truly disorganized and not knowing what to say anymore. He seemed very astute as he seems to have every answer to all issues. He looked at her and had that feeling of kissing her or taking her against her wish. She thought as much of him, she soon delved into another thought as she drifted back to an old cushion chair and her father’s advice flashed through her mind;

‘Comfort listen to me as I speak in plain language about sex. If sex becomes a habit before marriage it quickly destroys both the physical and spiritual heart. You will instantly become feeble in body and mind and such often ends in regret. Not only that, you will live with things you can never change - damage from previous mistakes being brought into your future marriage and setting you up for 8 more mistakes. God’s solution to avoiding these consequences is simple; you have to avoid sexual temptation the same way you would a hand grenade. Think of the consequences before you act and you will save yourself’.

‘No! I can’t do this, it’s too early’. She thought.

He had waited for her understanding but it seemed that there was no green light. He stood and moved closer to her.

‘ You don’t seem to know how much I love you and the only way you can show me how deeply you love me too is by giving me access to your body. I need you badly baby. He held her closer now but she swallowed a spit as her mind was about to fly out of her. She felt an unusual sensation in her body system and felt good about it. Mixed feelings engulfed her thought...
