On the Road to ₦100M

How can a young person with no extra advantage really build wealth in Nigeria today? This is the question I try to answer in this ebook, using the lens of my own experience. It is not a biography. That is reserved for when I eventually get to Legacy. This is the story of a journey. From my parents separating when I was 11, to living with my grandparents. From trying multiple businesses, including laundry, a roadside bukka, an errand service and a delivery business that eventually landed me in multiple millions of naira in debt.

From selling almost all my “small assets” to start again, to eventually crossing my first ₦300 million. And now, building a fintech company that has facilitated over ₦2 billion in Assets Under Management.

On the Road to ₦100M is part letter, part blueprint. It is my attempt to document the lessons, mistakes, principles and decisions that I believe can help an ordinary young person move from a ₦100,000 salary towards ₦100 million in wealth. There is no magic formula in these pages. It takes hard work. It takes thinking differently. It takes intentionality. And, perhaps most importantly, it takes learning how to see and act on opportunities differently. This book is for the young Nigerian who may not have been born with an advantage, but wants to build one.
