Also, all Selar Merchants with Stripe & PayPal enabled on their Selar store can now accept payments from their International customers with Google Pay and Apple Pay,  swiftly and effortlessly.

Here’s why you will love these new payment options:

1. With Klarna you get upfront full payments: While your customer gets the option to pay later, you will get paid immediately by Klarna. You don’t have to worry about getting delayed payments for your products and services.

2. Increase in Conversions: While there are a lot of reasons why customers abandon their cart while shopping online, one major reason is financial constraints. Offering customers the option to shop now and pay later allows customers to purchase the products even on a constrained budget.

3. More customers return to buy from you: Flexible payment can help increase customer retention. Studies have shown that users tend to cancel their purchases if the site doesn’t offer a payment method they like.

Here’s why your customers will love these new payment options: 

1. Klarna gives your customers the needed payment flexibility; they can buy products from you and get more time to pay with Klarna. 
2. With Apple Pay and Google Pay, your customers no longer have to go through any stress of inputting credit/debit card details to make payments at checkout.

Here’s how Klarna works:

• When your customers are about to checkout, they’ll see the option to use Klarna.
• The customer can then go ahead to split payment in installments with Klarna.
•  Here’s the cool part: while your customers get the option to pay in installments, you will get paid in full, upfront, by Klarna.
• And for Google & Apple Pay, when a customer tries to make a payment via Stripe, they will also see these options for payment.

A Few Important Things to Note —

First, monthly financing through Klarna issued by WebBank. Other CA resident loans made or arranged pursuant to a California Financing Law license. NMLS # 1353190.

Second, this feature is available to all Selar merchants with Stripe and PayPal enabled on their Selar store. However, only your customers paying from the USA and Europe can pay via Klarna, Google Pay, and Apple Pay.

As for why that is so, Klarna is currently not available for Nigeria. But, not to worry. We’re looking at working on buy now, pay later solutions for Nigerians.
