Selar App, Now on Mobile

One of the biggest challenges creators face after making a sale is protecting their digital products. Files get shared in group chats. Screenshots get taken. Download links get passed around. What should be a paid product can quickly spread for free.

The new Selar App was built to solve that.

Now available on iOS and Android, the Selar App gives your customers a secure place to access the products they buy while protecting your content from unauthorized sharing. eBooks open directly inside the app with built-in DRM protection that prevents screenshots, copying, and file redistribution. Your content stays protected, and only paying customers can access it.

Customers still get a great experience too. They can read eBooks even without an internet connection and scan event QR codes at the door, all from a single login.

Tickets by Selar App

Running an event comes with enough moving parts. Guest check-in should not be one of the stressful ones.

The Tickets by Selar App, also available on iOS and Android, lets you and your team scan QR codes at the door individually or in bulk. It works offline, so a bad internet connection does not slow down your entrance. Multiple team members can check in guests from different devices at the same time, and you can track attendance and revenue from your phone as the event unfolds.

Whether you run masterclasses, conferences, or workshops, your guests deserve a smooth entry experience. Now they will get one.

Page Builder 2.0: Build a Sales Page in Minutes

The old page builder worked. But this new version is in a different league.

Page Builder 2.0 runs on an entirely new engine, which means it is faster, smoother, and far more capable. You get access to over 200 pre-designed templates, a drag-and-drop editor that actually behaves the way you expect, and pages that look great on mobile without any extra effort from you.

New additions include version history so you can roll back edits, a built-in file manager to keep your assets organised, improved SEO settings, and the ability to deliver free products to customers who sign up through an opt-in form.

Selar Is Now En Française!

Selar has always been built for African creators. But for a long time, that promise did not fully extend to creators who work in French. That changes now.

Selar is now fully available in French, starting with creators in Benin, Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, and Cameroon. Through a new partnership with Kkiapay, creators in these countries can also receive payouts in their local currency, XAF and XOF.

Direct USD Payouts

If you earn in dollars and your monthly payouts are above $1,000, you can now receive them directly into a USD bank account. No conversion, no exchange rate losses.

Affiliate Challenges

Affiliates promote more when there is something to win. With Affiliate Challenges, you can set up a timed competition for your affiliate network, complete with a live leaderboard and prizes you define. Top performers push to stay ahead, others push to catch up, and you get more sales. It is perfect for product launches or any campaign where you want your affiliates to show up in full force.

Bundles

Bundles let you package your existing products into multiple tiers, each with its own price, files, and value. One product link, multiple options. This way, you can capture every price point without creating separate products or managing separate links.

Approval Flow

Not every product is for everyone. Approval Flow lets you control exactly who gets access. Customers request to buy or download, you review and decide, and email communications are handled automatically. You can add custom intake questions to collect the information you need before approving. It is designed for VIP events, exclusive communities, gated memberships, and any situation where access should be earned.

Physical Product Order Tracking

You can now add a tracking link to any physical order and update its status to In Transit or Delivered. Customers get an email notification whenever the status changes, and the tracking link is included in their receipt. Fewer support questions, better customer experience, and less manual work on your end.

Generate Account Statements

Need to reconcile your earnings, prove income to a bank, or share financial records with your tax manager? You can now generate a detailed, downloadable PDF statement for any date range directly from your payouts dashboard. Statements include opening and closing balances, total credits and debits, and a full transaction breakdown. Multi-currency wallets are supported, with NGN and USD displayed in separate tables within a single export.

Course Access Extensions

Students learn at different speeds. Now, extending access to a course is a single action. You can extend access for any student or group. Selar updates it immediately, and the student receives an automatic notification. With this feature, you do not have to worry about manual back-and-forth or awkward support conversations.

Additional Sale Notification Recipients

Now, you can add one or more email addresses to alert the right people instantly, business partners, sales teams, or accounting, without giving anyone your Selar login details. Everyone gets real-time updates automatically, so no one has to forward emails manually or worry about missing important sales.

Your account email still receives every notification as usual. This feature keeps your team aligned, improves transparency, and ensures the right people have the right information, exactly when they need it.

Coming this March

We are not slowing down. Here is a preview of what is on the way.

Memberships 2.0 will bring your entire community into one place. Recurring billing, tiered access, gated content, community posts, direct messaging, and analytics, all managed from your Selar dashboard. No more juggling WhatsApp groups, Telegram channels, and email lists.

Bookings is a full scheduling system built directly into Selar. Set your availability, connect to Zoom, Google Meet, or a physical location, accept payments, add intake forms, and manage group bookings. Customers choose a slot, pay, and receive an automatic confirmation and calendar invite. If you currently rely on Calendly for this, that may be about to change.

Payout Advance will let creators access their USD earnings before the usual four-day payout cycle ends. The advance is settled automatically once your payout is processed. Eligible creators will be able to apply from their dashboard.
