Facebook is known to be a social tool so I never thought it could also serve as a platform for business & exchange of value.

Whenever I see people displaying the series of alerts they've received online I smiled, closed my mind & faced my front.

I thought everything was a scam & all screenshots were photoshopped.

I maintained this state of mind for almost two years until something happened.

What really happened?

I received my first credit alert from someone on Facebook.

This was the first time the vibration of my phone made me screamed.

The reason I screamed is not because I haven't seen that kind of amount before but because the figures came from a total stranger.

The alerts came in from someone I haven't met before & there is high possibility that we may never meet throughout our lifetime.

That first alert opened my eyes & made me understand that Facebook is more than a social media, it's also a critical tool for business.

As at the time of writing this piece I have totally lost count of the number of alerts I have gotten online because I receive them almost everyday.
