Welcome to ARCANE DU BELTAH: ISLAND NIGHTS Book ONE, an African fantasy series blending mystery, friendship, romance, advanced technology and supernatural wonder.

On the eve of her thirtieth birthday, Raven feels as though life has passed her by. She is trapped in an ordinary routine in Abuja while the dreams she once carried, travel, purpose, love and freedom—seem increasingly distant. Her fearless best friend, Lilian Folakemi Daniel, refuses to let Raven disappear inside her disappointment.

Everything changes when Raven and Lilian enter a competition for a two-week holiday on Beltah, an impossible island protected from the outside world. Against every expectation, they win.

Their journey takes them from Nigeria through Japan and into a private aircraft flying towards what appears to be empty ocean. Then the sky opens.

Beyond Beltah’s invisible shield lies a breathtaking world of tropical beaches, luminous cities, secret technology and power. But paradise is never as simple as it appears. The island seems to recognise Raven, and every beautiful discovery draws her closer to a truth she does not yet understand.

Lilian embraces Beltah with her usual confidence and develops an unexpected connection with Andre, their caretaker. Raven, overwhelmed by the island’s nightlife, escapes into the quiet, only to collide with Micah Ling, Beltah’s proud, guarded and dangerously influential creator. One ruined suit, one apology and one early-morning phone call begin a relationship neither of them planned.

As Raven rediscovers her courage, laughter and sense of adventure, darker forces move behind Beltah’s glittering surface. Micah faces betrayal, pressure from an estranged father and a conspiracy surrounding the revolutionary Eclipse VR system. Raven must decide whether the island is offering her a second chance—or drawing her into a destiny that could change both worlds.
